On the Road Again

Well spring finally seems to be here so I've donned the lycra and been out for a few rides on the bike. Nothing too strenuous so far. I had a ride up to Skelton last Tuesday and a ride to Shipton by Beningbrough on Friday. This week so far I managed another run to Shipton on Monday.

Its good to be back out on the bike and I'm pleased to report that the legs are not feeling too bad. Having said that the furthest I've been on a ride so far this year is about 10 miles and on the London to Paris ride we'll be doing 80 miles a day so a bit more training to do yet I think.

I spoke to Christian Aid yesterday and apparently so far there are about 70 of us signed up for the ride. If you want to join us on the ride you can do so by clicking on the Christian Aid link in the sidebar.

I'm coming to the end of my course in the next couple of months so I'm drowning under course work at the moment. Currently trying to do a 6000 word essay on Archbishop Michael Ramsey which is a hard slog. I may have to go for a bike ride late to alleviate the boredom!
